Lake Oswego
A full renovation of the main level of a two-story, 3500 sq. ft, 1980’s traditional home built on Lake Oswego. The remodel involved minor floor plan modifications, a new foyer addition, and a complete update to all architectural details and materials. The owners wanted a more modern aesthetic, so we peeled back to the original architectural structure and created a more modern, updated interiors. The materials palette includes rift-cut, quarter-sawn white oak floors as well as a black slate tile floor in the sunroom, which then continues out to the expansive, scenic patio where the presence of the lake is most admired. The new built-in cabinetry throughout the spaces are a combination of painted and rift-cut white oak. We highlighted certain areas with tile selections from Ann Sacks Tile, such as the dining room fireplace, the kitchen backsplash and the wet bar. Finally, the updated home welcomed the selection of a custom walnut dining room table, B&B Italia dining chairs, several new modern area rugs from Kush Rugs, and new lounge furniture for the sunroom, the heart of the home.
